WHO WE ARE
Talleres Navales Valencia, S. L, Tanaval, was established in January 1979. Initially it was located on Camino de las Moreras in Valencia, and is currently located in the Port of Valencia, South Extension, s/n since September 2006.
The activity is mainly focused on the general repair of ships afloat and dry and the construction of vessels with aluminium hulls.
Over time, the activity has evolved, maintaining the initial activity, but expanding the support and maintenance work to large-scale construction companies, as well as container terminals. In 1983, and following a policy of expansion, our subsidiary company Extintores Valencia, SL Extinval (www.extinval.com) was created with the same corporate group. It is dedicated to Naval and Industrial Safety, creating a base for the inspection of life rafts and responding to the needs of maintenance and equipment in fire extinguishing and detection elements both on Ships and in Industry and the Army. The increase in work and personnel, as well as the urban planning of the area, required the transfer of the activity, which led to negotiations with the Port Authority of Valencia, which resulted in obtaining an administrative concession in the Southern Extension of the Port of Valencia. On a plot of 5,300 m2, there are 2 warehouses equipped with 10 and 5 Tns cranes used by Tanaval and Extinval, with a work surface of 2,000 m2, 200 m2 of warehouses and 300 m2 of fully equipped offices. All this has led to a strong investment in machinery and equipment that allows us to respond to current technological needs for the benefit of our clients.
