T6 was brought on to build creative scripts and concepts for a PSA. They also were responsible for shooting eight videos over two days with various digital and social deliverables.

The execution was exceptional. The project exceeded client expectations and T6 managed the process seamlessly.

T6 has excellent project management abilities. All of the deliverables met the deadline, and they managed and responded to feedback throughout the process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

T6 finds ways to creatively solve problems within the initial scope of the budget. This is rare.

Are there any areas for improvement or something T6 could have done differently?

I don't feel there were any areas where they did not meet the expectations set by the client or the demands of the project.

What challenge were you trying to address with T6?

We needed filming and video production services for our end clients' projects.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I've worked with Chris (Founder & Director) on several projects for the last 13 years. One project was for an African resort chain end client and required filming in various locations. For the last project we worked on, we went to the end client's factory in Arkansas to interview managers and factory workers to understand their products and work ethic. 

We planned together on each production project, and T6 managed all production stages, including signing releases and video direction. T6 had their own filming equipment and rented it if necessary. T6 delivered the raw film files, and our in-house team managed the editing.

What is the team composition?

Chris was our main contact, and for our last project, we worked with a crew of 3–5 teammates.

How did you come to work with T6?

I started working with Chris before he started his company six years ago. I continue to work with T6 because I already know the team's ethics and can reach them through a phone call. T6 is constantly available to start working on our projects immediately, often working on extended schedules rather than fixed schedules as other production companies do.
How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $35,000–$50,000 on our last engagement. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The last project we worked on with T6 happened between January–February 2024.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're waiting for the campaigns' KPIs from the project we filmed in January 2024. We don't have any data yet. However, the end client told me the work surpassed their expectations. 

Our last project involved several technical challenges because we filmed at a factory with loud noises and a risky environment that required us to abide by their security rules while trying to sell a product. This project had several audio challenges, and Chris kept a light footprint and worked with a small crew, which didn't reflect on the outcome since it seemed like a bigger production. 

Our shooting project in Africa also had many challenges resulting from filming in outdoor locations like Mount Kilimanjaro, the Zambezi River, and Victoria Falls. Some of these shots were physically challenging because the Zambezi River has class-five rapids, and we filmed on drafts. Chris even hit a rock, and his raft flew. The team was flexible when we were required to modify our production plans.

Chris was super talented and motivated. He was also a hard worker and great collaborator, willing to go the extra mile. Chris cared about doing the project right and offered extra work. 

How did T6 perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated with T6 through in-person and virtual meetings through FaceTime and Zoom. T6 delivered work on time and never missed a deadline. For the project we filmed in Africa, I worked with my partner and T6 simultaneously. My partner, who was responsible for another piece of the project, dropped the ball because they didn't finish their work because they went on Thanksgiving vacations. The project was due in December first. 

I explained what happened to Chris, and he worked with me during Thanksgiving to deliver work on time to the end client. He helped finish the work another teammate failed to deliver. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

T6 was unlike any other production company I had worked with because the process was easy. I didn't have to go through all the pomp of dealing with a big production company. Work in the advertising industry occurs all day because there are always problems to solve, and that is part of what I look for in a good advertising collaborator.

T6 was very personable and could talk to anybody. Chris was like a one-man band, and his skill set was like the one of a 20-person team without that many teammates, which resulted in better value and cost savings.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have any areas for improvement to comment on T6. When the company grows, Chris will have the challenge of finding teammates who can match his nature, skill set, and professionalism and run at the same speed.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I suggest involving Chris in your project at an early stage to help you plan the production process. Collaborating with Chris at the beginning of your project will ensure a smooth process.
