The training was delivered through practical sessions based on real engineering work rather than prepared exercises. It covered the common failure modes of coding agents, including plausible but incorrect outputs, and showed me how to build external verification into the development process instead of relying only on manual code review or tests generated by the same agent. Key deliverables included: * A repeatable method for planning, executing, and validating agent-driven software development. * Practical orchestration patterns, including agent loops, an agent Kanban workflow, and a complete agent-supported development cycle. * Techniques for managing context deliberately so agents receive the right information and produce more reliable results. * Methods for controlling model usage and cost during long-running engineering tasks. * Guidance on creating custom agent harnesses tailored to my own workflows rather than depending entirely on vendor-provided tools. * A structured approach for defining boundaries, verification steps, and quality controls so agent output can be trusted without manually reviewing every change in detail.
