I’m the chief of staff at a cybersecurity company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Syndesus?

We’re in a competitive landscape for hiring software developers and engineers. Syndesus provided access to a pool of candidates that could support our work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provide software engineer resources.

What is the team composition?

We started with one resource, but we’ve since expanded to five. We work with Marc (Founder), and two other people on the administrative and recruiting side of things. 

How did you come to work with Syndesus?

Our director of engineering was the one that first contacted Syndesus. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $80,000 so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2017. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’ve been very pleased with them, that’s why we’ve continued to expand our relationship with them. 

How did Syndesus perform from a project management standpoint?

We typically communicate over email. They’re very responsive. We also schedule phone calls as needed. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to find talent is impressive. It’s challenging to find high-quality engineers. However, they’re able to do so pretty efficiently. They work hard and are responsive, flexible, and engaging. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. At first, our roles were less clear since we young and so was Syndesus. However, we’ve since cleared up our responsibilities to each other during the engagement. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just make sure that you read all of the information and paperwork they send to you, so you can be clear about the regulations.
