On May 12, at a meeting of the Government of Montenegro, a resolution was adopted according to which citizens of the Russian Federation can stay in the Republic of Montenegro without a visa for up to 90 days, on the basis of a valid foreign passport. This change in the visa regime for citizens of the Russian Federation is valid until 10/31/2016. This decision entered into force after being published in the Official Sheet of Montenegro on 06/03/2016.
At the International Tourism Exhibition “MITT-2016”, which was held from March 23 to 26 in Moscow, Montenegro was awarded the prestigious prize in the category “Tourist Destination with the Best Beaches”.
The exhibition was attended by about 1800 participants from 192 countries. Montenegro was represented by tourism organizations of the cities of Budva, Bar, Herceg Novi, Tivat, Ulcinj and Kotor, tour operators R-Tours, HG Montenegro Stars, Queen of Montenegro, HG Budvanska Rivijera, as well as Montenegro Airlines “,“ Beppler i Jacobson Ltd. “,“ HIT Montenegro– Hotel Maestral “, Dukley Gardens and the travel agency Explorer.
