I work as a Content Strategist for a full-service Publishing agency. We help independent authors with the entire lifecycle of their book - everything from professional editing and design to global distribution and marketing on platforms like Amazon. We wanted to build a strong digital footprint for our authors beyond just having their books listed on online stores. We specifically chose Swift Book Marketing to handle the SEO and digital PR for our upcoming projects.

Swift Book Marketing took over the Digital Marketing and Publicity for our book project. The main thing they did was getting the author featured on various news sites and book blogs to create some buzz. They also worked on the search engine side, making sure that when someone searches for the book or the author, they see professional links and articles. In the end, they provided a report with all the live links and coverage they secured for us. 
It was a very focused campaign on building the author's online reputation. Swift Book Marketing handled the core execution of the PR and SEO side directly. Their team was responsible for drafting the press releases and then pitching them to various media outlets and book bloggers to get us those features. They also took charge of the SEO, where they manually updated and optimized our author profiles to make sure they were ranking correctly.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results were very solid and exactly what we were aiming for in terms of digital presence. Within a few months, we saw a significant improvement in search engine rankings; for instance, the author's name and the book title started appearing on the first page of Google, which wasn't the case before. We also tracked the live links and features they secured, and we ended up with about 8–10 high-quality placements on reputable book blogs and news sites. 
This didn't just help with immediate visibility but also gave us great material to use for social proof in our other marketing efforts. The measurable growth in search traffic and the credibility from those media features showed that the campaign was a success.Although we don't have the exact analytics in front of us, we definitely noticed a big jump — I'd say the search traffic for the author’s name easily went up by about 40%. 
The coolest part was seeing the book move from being buried on page 5 or 6 of Google all the way to the first page for most of our main keywords within just a few months. We didn't track anything too complex, but we definitely kept an eye on the engagement on those featured articles. It was great to see people actually commenting and sharing the pieces on social media. 
We even had a few direct inquiries from readers asking for more info about the book shortly after the PR pieces went live. For me, seeing that direct interest from the audience was a huge indicator that the campaign was actually working.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The most obvious change is the jump in my social media following. I went from having almost no presence to building a community of several thousand engaged followers across Instagram and TikTok. But more than just numbers, the engagement is what really matters. I started seeing genuine conversations in the comments, and people are actually asking where they can buy my book. We see a very clear spike in my monthly sales and pre-orders directly tied to the weeks Swift Book Marketing runs targeted ad campaigns. I also notice that my book starts appearing in "Recommended" lists in my genre more frequently, which tells me the organic reach they're building is working. It's a huge relief to see my dashboard finally moving in the right direction without me having to micromanage every post.

My following has basically tripled, growing from a few hundred to over 3,000 in just a few months. Sales-wise, I've seen a 3–4x increase during the peak campaign weeks compared to when I was managing things solo. Even after the launch, my daily sales stay much higher than my previous baseline.
