Supermega designed our entire social iOS app from zero to App Store launch. They started with research to understand our users and competitors, then created all the screens and flows we needed - onboarding, feeds, messaging, profiles, everything. They also built our brand identity because we had nothing. Logo, colors, fonts, icons - the whole package. This was actually really important because it made our app look professional and different from other social apps. The design work covered 45+ screens with all the details - buttons, animations, different states when you tap things. They made it feel smooth and native to iOS. Everything was organized in a design system so our developers could reuse components and build faster. What I really appreciated was how they worked with our dev team. They were always available to answer questions, check the implementation, and make sure everything looked right in the actual app. Very hands-on and collaborative, not just throwing designs over the wall.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After launch, our App Store rating went from 3.2 to 4.7 stars, which was huge for us. User engagement jumped significantly - we saw 40% more daily active users in the first month compared to our old design.
Session time increased by about 50% because the new interface made it easier for users to discover content and connect with others. The engagement features they designed - like the streamlined posting flow and improved feed - really worked.

They were very organized and reliable. We had weekly check-ins where they showed progress and gathered feedback. Everything was delivered on time, sometimes even earlier than promised.

Their taste and visual design skills were exceptional. They understood what makes a social app modern and engaging.
What stood out was their deep understanding of social apps specifically. They knew the patterns users expect, how feeds should behave, what makes content shareable.
Their Figma files were clean and well-structured, which made collaboration easy. 
They also brought strong opinions about what would work and what wouldn't, which I appreciated.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Supermega Design could have done differently?

Honestly, I don't have major complaints. They delivered great work and were professional throughout.

If I had to mention something, it would be helpful to have more documentation around design decisions - like why certain patterns were chosen over others. 

But overall, the experience was really smooth
