I’m the owner of Main & Johnson, a business coaching and consulting company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Superior Data Solutions?

I’d been running a small business model for a while, and we hoped that we had all the right security measures in place to be protected. However, as we continue to grow and add more employees, it became evident that we needed more reliable protection and managed IT services in our business.

Superior Data Solutions is responsible for our IT security and protection.

How did you come to work with Superior Data Solutions?

When we were searching for a vendor, we received calls from companies that were similar to Superior Data Solutions, whose approach stood out. Our call with them wasn’t about selling something; it was about understanding what type of protection made the most sense for us and what type of products were best in our workspace. Simply put, the call felt more like an assessment than a sales one, so we hired them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spend below $10,000 on their services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in May 2020, and the partnership is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

As a success measure, whenever we hear any types of breaches in the news or anything like that, Superior Data Solutions is quick to let us know why and how we’re protected. Given that, we can breathe a sigh of relief; the target corporations have security problems, but we don’t.

I also appreciate that they always keep us up to speed with everything that’s going on. Technology changes rapidly, and I don’t always have the ability to monitor what’s going on out there. 

How did Superior Data Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We use a ticketing system to manage projects and communicate. When I have an issue, I raise a ticket and they jump right on it, immediately addressing the problem. I can also see all the progress being made on that ticket. Otherwise, I can always pick up the phone and call them, and they’ll let me know what’s happening and what to expect. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Superior Data Solutions is upfront with their services. They want to make sure that I’ll still be their customer in five years. In other words, they don’t just grab somebody for the short term. Instead, they build a system for us that evolves along with our business with a long-term vision. That stands out in their services. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. Even though they’re in California and I’m in North Carolina, I have no problem with our level of interaction. They’ve also gone some great lengths to expand eastward, and I’m content with that. Overall, their team finds ways to close our gap. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t downplay the level of risk you have. If you’re not trying to think of hacking your own company, somebody else is. As a result, be open to using Superior Data Solutions’ services; they have great answers. 

Apart from that, lay out what you want, and you’ll be surprised that they can customize a lot of things. They don’t just use a boilerplate approach to protection. Overall, they’re good at listening and adjusting what they offer to your needs.
