Our story begins in 1999 when our founders identified a need for an independent, reliable and customer-centric glass supplier. With a combined 50 years plus experience in the glass and construction sector we set the building blocks for what has now become a multi-million-pound company. With the purchase of one small cutting table and one tempering furnace our team set the culture of the business, creating an environment for success: a place that was great to work, with a team motivated to succeed and to deliver a promise of reliability and consistency.

Within 1 year the order books influenced further investment, with the purchase of a jumbo cutting table and new furnace enabling our business to upscale and commit to the delivery of more lucrative projects. 5 years, two jumbo cutting tables and two furnaces later, Supertuff moved into a new, and current home, a 100,000 sq. ft. production facility.

Today, Supertuff is one of the largest independent and most respected suppliers of toughened and processed glass in the UK. Underpinning our outstanding growth and success, the company continues to be driven by what it set, back in 1999, as its core objective – to set the benchmark for best practice in the supply of high quality glass in the UK.

With continuous investment in technology, our state of the art machinery ensures we meet every need for every customer. We manufacture a comprehensive range of glass types and products for commercial, residential and architectural projects throughout the UK.
