We were assigned to deliver video clips to a client, and those clips needed high-quality motion graphics, design and many 3D elements, all in fast turnarounds and still maintaining high quality. The deliverables were to YouTube and social media, adding to the complexity of designing different aspect ratios.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The client was head over heels happy with the outcome, which was our main priority. The quality was the highest we ever had, leaving us speechless.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project was managed, mostly but not all, through Trello and frame-io; in Trello, we were given a card, and we would then fill that card with tasks and, one by one the task would be worked on without having to do many meetings it eventually saved us time

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We found their subscription model most impressive. They saved us money in the long run and knowing that they are always keeping us calm and relaxed. We usually would do the work and then wait for client approval. We would then need to pay freelance for the time they didn't work, but with submotion, we just paused the subscription.

Are there any areas for improvement or something submotion could have done differently?

Some team members thought about whether we would feel more comfortable having the option to communicate more through video calls.
