BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the co-founder and COO of Audry. Audry is an online platform and home to the Audry community of podcasters. We facilitate joint growth initiatives between podcasters so they can achieve their goals.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Studio Skulptur?

We needed help to boil down our brand purpose to its very essence and formalize it in a way that will keep us motivated for years to come. Alongside the brand purpose, we needed a fitting brand design and language that really shows what we are all about visually.

What were your goals for this project?

To define our ideal brand purpose that will stay fixed for the life of the company and a look that will help our ambitions to become the largest podcast creator community in the world.

SOLUTION

How did you select Studio Skulptur?

We chose Studio Skulptur because we had very briefly worked with them years before this project for a different company. Even though that stunt had been much smaller we remembered how much fun it was working with them and how great the outcome had been. Their ever-increasing catalog on their website also confirmed that they are great at what we wanted to do.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

We started with a workshop that included all team members and aimed at getting all our ideas, hopes, and values for Audry on paper. After the initial workshop, they distilled our work into a document that served as the foundation for the brand purpose building.

We worked in the weekly sprint for which they would prepare images/graphics/texts and we would provide instant feedback for them to iterate over. In the end, we had one big brand summary workshop to finalize the last details.

What was the team composition?

The entire Studio Skulptur team was involved in different parts of the project. Emma was the lead on their side.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We constantly get great reactions from people that are seeing our brand/website for the first time. Since we implemented the new website we can also see an increase in user conversions and organic traffic growth. A more recent example: We just hired a PR consultant and she said that the whole brand look will make it easy to position us in relevant demographics.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

For this project, we were under some time pressure and they adapted 100% to that. After defining all of our requirements together, they quickly created a full timeline including all deliverables, the input needed they needed from us, as well as the dates they would send overdrafts for us to critique. This put a lot of pressure on us internally but led to an amazing outcome in such a short time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed by their ability to iterate over ideas in extremely short time spans and their drive to always go for gold instead of something that is just ok. Besides that, they did a fantastic job at pulling our ideas and feelings out of us. We are not the most artistic team and they managed to get us to think in ways we are not used to.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The only thing I can think of was a small hiccup during the invoicing process. I am looking forward to seeing more of their projects and we will be repeat customers.
