Please describe your company and your position there.
RISA is focused on the continuity of IT network operations and elimination of risk to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical business processes and data.
For what projects/services did your company hire Studio Mesa, and what were your goals?
As a government contracting company, RISA required a Section 508 compliant website. Additionally, RISA required a site refresh.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Studio Mesa provides an easy process for client on-boarding and simplifies complex terminology while satisfying requirements.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
RISA require a lesser amount of webpages with newer photos and an incorporation of movement on the main page to make it more interesting. Studio Mesa nailed it.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The Project Manager worked directly with me (CEO) to understand in detail what I was looking for. There was what I would call a rough draft and a draft version where together we fine-tuned my vision based upon our conversations. Then the final version was exactly what I was looking for.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
In our old website, our analytics was broken. Studio Mesa fixed that and now we are able to see the flow of visitors through our website to determine which pages have the most impact and adjust from there if we want to. If we ever need changes in the future, Studio Mesa will be the ones RISA contacts.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
I believe in letting professionals do their job independently. I expected after our first few phone calls and screen shares that after a few days I would receive progress updates, which indeed was the case. We were not in a pinch to get the site updated, but at the same time, we didn't want to wait forever either. Studio Mesa provided a quality website in a reasonable amount of time. It was actually a fun process.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
One on one consultations. You aren't handed off to different people mired in other projects. I liked the personable attention to detail provided by Studio Mesa. They cared about my input and if it was off-track, Studio Mesa offered a counter idea/aspect that RISA adopted.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
If you look at the examples they provide of their work (which includes RISA's website), you can see they provide outstanding websites. Nothing immediately comes to mind to answer this question.
The client was more than happy with the improved website. Studio Mesa's communication and project management skills stood out at every stage of the project. The team also led an efficient workflow, which ensured a delay-free and enjoyable partnership.
