The Cherokee Street spot is the brainchild of twin St. Louis natives Randy and Jeff Vines. Since founding the shop in 2001, the cofounders and their apparel have gained plenty of media attention. Since beginning this venture, STL-Style has grown from a basement t-shirt shop to a bona fide force in the local scene. Today, after more than a decade in business, we have polished our act. With a talented team of cohorts and bustling full-service retail and custom design shop on Cherokee Street.
The St. Louis-themed shirts that Jeff Vines and his identical twin, Randy, make are not for tourists. They sport neighborhood references and inside jokes unintelligible to those not from here. Some easily offend, displaying profanity and raunchy innuendo. But to the Vines brothers, their edginess is part of their mission for St. Louis.
