Staff Direct, Canary Wharf

Staff-Direct — Temporary Staffing Agency London
Staff-Direct is a London-based temporary staffing agency headquartered at 10 Preston's Rd in Canary Wharf. We connect businesses that need reliable, vetted workers at short notice with a growing roster of more than 1,000 pre-screened candidates across warehouse and logistics, construction, hospitality, office and administration, IT, driving and transport, and cleaning and facilities.

Our core promise is simple: tell us what you need, and we'll have the right people on your site — often the same day you call. We were built to solve a problem every operations manager recognises. When a shift has gaps, most agencies say "we'll try to get you someone." We say "they'll be there by 7am." That difference in mindset is what our clients tell us keeps them coming back. You can read more about our temporary staffing service at https://staff-direct.net/temporary-staffing.

Our office is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, because the industries we serve don't keep business hours. You can reach us any time on 020 8154 5427. What We Do At its simplest, Staff-Direct supplies temporary and short-notice staff to businesses across London and, through our partner network, further afield across the UK. But that sentence undersells what we actually deliver on a daily basis. We provide: Same-day staffing — workers dispatched on the day you book, often within hours. Short-notice cover — for when a member of your own team calls in sick or a temp fails to show. Weekly and monthly placements — for businesses with predictable, ongoing labour needs. Seasonal staffing — extra capacity for peaks, events, holidays and busy periods. Temp-to-perm arrangements — a low-risk way to trial a worker before offering a permanent contract.
