Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the head of tech for a retail company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Stackworx.co?

I hired Stackworx.co for a few projects, both for my current company and other clients. All of the work was for custom Shopify app development.

What were your goals for this project?

My goal was to create a custom Shopify app.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I first found Farooq (Developer, Stackworx.co) on Fiverr. After giving him a few small tasks, I realized how amazing he was to work with and started hiring him and his team for bigger projects.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Stackworx.co designed a bespoke app for managing internal data, including returns and ambassadors. They also did the integration with another website platform.

Most of our projects together involved using some variation of Ruby on Rails and gems. I would often ask them to do some of the code from a logic perspective, but not built out into app format.

Farooq and I would take time to discuss the full scope of work as well as our plan of attack for development. His team would then take that work, run with it, and come back to me when they had something we could test together. We then ironed out any kinks before launching the apps.  

What was the team composition?

I mostly work with Farooq, who manages the other developers from Stackworx.co.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

They always deliver amazing work. There were times when Farooq offered even better solutions than what we planned on originally, and we chose to implement those recommendations.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management has been great, so they’ve never missed deadlines. The communication has been constant and quite easy.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I’m impressed with how smart they are. I love sitting down and just chatting code and logic with Farooq. It's hard to find developers who you can actually talk to, and Stackworx.co is full of them.  

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, they're great as is. I’ve not had any issues working with them, ever.
