The idea behind Spanish Language Linguistics was born over a decade ago, as I have always been an interpreter for family or my employers. As a 911 dispatcher I had to interpret for Spanish speakers from other countries with accents from other states. It dawned on me that not everyone understood the distinctions. So, the idea to focus on the linguistics of the Spanish language as it changes from country, state or region was born.
My educational background includes the administration of justice and the Spanish language. I am currently certified as an Arizona Court Interpreter and had to pass rigorous testing to ensure fluency in reading, writing, speaking and comprehension. Spanish Language Linguistics, LLC is a minority and woman owned business based in Casa Grande, Arizona.
