SouthRivers Data is a Central European data and AI engineering company. We provide senior Data Engineers, Data Architects and AI Engineers to companies and IT consultancies across Europe and the US, and we design, deliver and audit data platforms. Our team has worked on more than 30 platforms to date.

Staff augmentation is our core service, and we treat candidate selection with particular care. Every engineer goes through a dedicated hiring process before we propose them: a screening interview with our recruiter, a technical interview with a senior architect, and a background check. Every CV you receive from us has passed all three stages.

Because candidates are vetted in advance, initial profiles are shared within 48 hours. The specialist you meet during selection is the one assigned to your project. Engagements are contracted monthly, and any engineer who is not the right fit is replaced at no additional cost.

Our platform delivery practice covers new data platforms and the re-architecture of existing ones that no longer meet business needs. Discovery and architecture are delivered on a fixed-fee basis, followed by implementation on a time-and-materials basis with an agreed budget ceiling.

Data architecture audits give clients an independent, fixed-fee assessment of their current platform by a senior architect. The outcome is a clear written report with a prioritised roadmap, which the client's team can execute or which we can implement on their behalf.

IT consultancies engage us as a subcontracting partner when they win data or AI projects that exceed their in-house capacity.

Our engineers have hands-on expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Kafka, dbt, Airflow and Delta Lake, primarily on Azure as well as AWS and GCP. Our AI engineers have delivered RAG pipelines and LLM-based systems into production.
