Sophell is the coming together of two highly experienced and well known commercial property funding professionals with an enviable track record of successful delivery and yet with completely different but complementary skill sets.

Sophie Brown is a PwC trained Chartered Accountant who has held a number of commercial Finance Director roles in some well known UK companies. Sophie has experience as a property developer in her own right and prior to forming Sophell with Russell had her own property debt advisory business based in London.

Russell Jowett is a highly experienced and entrepreneurial former Banker who held senior positions at 4 Major Banks from UK, Australia and Ireland. He too has run a property debt advisory business in the North of England for the last 15 years.

Our mission is to provide what we describe as a holistic approach. To become part of your team providing advice on strategy, structuring, agreeing and achieving short, medium and long term goals in addition to sourcing and implementing funding.  In addition, we have a proven track record in the provision of commercial property Real Estate funding across the complete capital stack.

We bring a depth and range of global contacts from investors and funders to professional service providers many of whom are former colleagues upon whom we can call across a whole range of disciplines.
