I’m a wedding celebrant for I Do by Isabella, a company that provides personalized wedding ceremonies for couples on the Gold Coast, from full ceremonies and elopements to legal-only services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Sol Studio?

I needed to get my website found on Google and build an online presence from scratch. The main goals were to rank for Gold Coast celebrant searches, get set up on Google Maps, and make sure I was showing up when couples were searching for a celebrant in the area.

Sol Studio has handled the full setup of my online presence, including website design and development, SEO foundations, local search optimization, and Google Business Profile setup. They’ve also handled technical aspects like site speed, schema markup, and ensuring the site is structured correctly for search. Their work has covered everything from getting the brand looking right to making sure the right people can find it online.Specifically, Sol Studio has been responsible for everything, including the full website design and development, all the copy and content, the branding direction, and the SEO setup. They also handle the technical side, like site speed optimization, schema, and metadata. They manage the SEO and ensure the site stays optimized.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Sol Studio has taken my website from not existing to ranking on the first page for Gold Coast celebrant searches within a few months. I’ve started getting inquiries through the contact form pretty quickly after the launch, which was the main thing I needed. The site also loads fast and looks professional, which I think helps with conversions when people land on it.Overall, I’ve gone from having no online presence at all to consistently receiving inquiries through the website. The site ranks well for the searches that matter — couples looking for a celebrant on the Gold Coast can find me, which is the whole point. For a small business like mine, that’s the real measure of success. I already have work lined up from what Sol Studio has offered.

How did Sol Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Sol Studio is great to work with — they’re very collaborative and communicative throughout the whole process. They keep me in the loop at every stage and are always easy to reach if I have questions. Everything has been delivered on time, and they’re proactive about flagging anything that needs my input. It never feels like I’m chasing them for updates; if anything, they’re onto me about pushing the business further.We communicate through in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and email or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out the most is how collaborative the whole process feels. It never feels like I’m handing something off to an agency and waiting — they genuinely want to understand my vision and bring it to life. For a small business like mine, that personal approach makes a huge difference. They also bring ideas and expertise I wouldn’t have thought of myself, like getting found in AI search tools, which feels very ahead of the curve.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, nothing major comes to mind. If I had to say something, there have been moments early on when I wasn’t sure what to expect next, but they’re always quick to clarify when I ask. As the project has progressed, communication has gotten even smoother. It’s a small thing, and it hasn’t affected the outcome at all.
