Starting in 1993, Alberto Olarte -ex-National Director of Technological Projects of Banco de Caldas- created a comprehensive platform for business management called "Claus". In 1994 he formalized his work, creating the company that is known today as Software de Colombia. Since then, Software de Colombia has grown to offer various services in the cloud.
