I am the CEO at EMSER. EMSER is a technology consulting company specialized in innovative developments applied to logistics, distribution, mass consumption, agriculture, public services and digital cities.

For what projects/services did your company hire Soft Cluster, LLC?

We have been working with Soft Cluster since 2014, and used them to provide talent on multiple projects. Key projects were on-going enhancements and support for cloud solution with Backend on Python, and Mobile Apps

What were your goals for this project?

The main goal was to stabilize both sides WEB and Mobile , and then continue with new features , and the last major task is migrate the mobile App to Flutter, we currently participate and analyze the feasibility of the new requirements, I think the greatest goa is the optimization and scalability for this project

How did you select Soft Cluster, LLC?

I reached out to my peers internally and externally for recommendations, and Soft Cluster was on the list of recommended vendors. VP Technology, myself and Senior CRM Architect looked at 3 vendors, and identified Soft Cluster as the best one. The deciding factors were the skill set of the proposed consultant and flexibility and willingness to help Soft Cluster management. Great team to work with!

Describe the project in detail.

We have been working with "Celsius App" which is Survey engine for Android and IOs platforms , it is composed of a back office in Django for the backend and we are using Angular 11 in the Frontend, currently we have a native app Android with java but we are migrating to Flutter for the new version mobile Apps. The back office generates the surveys and these are used in the mobile apps, the survey engine makes this surveys dynamically and can be linked to an Auditor who is the user in the mob apps, once finished the survey this one is synchronised in the Backend, Thee back office also is a charge is in charge to generate reports, management Users,Plans,Chanels for all types of surveys. All our infrastructure is in Amazon.

The team structure varied based on the needs of the specific project. The management was always quick to offer new resources as the needs come up.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The MVP project has started with minimal users like 10, but as time passed the system has opened to use more and more users, now we have 10000 users each month

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We decided to use an agile methodology and everyday the team had meetings and at the end of each sprint the directors have a meeting if it is necessary we have a meeting each 2 months.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The vendor has excellent resources available in multiple areas, but mostly, we were impressed by the flexibility and cooperation of the management.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not for me, very satisfied with the services

I’m the senior consultant at ARDIZ and Partners, a management consulting company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Soft Cluster, LLC?

We needed a partner to help us with custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped create tailor-made solutions for us and several of our clients. In one of the companies, they did a messaging and IP solution. They built the guts of the system from scratch and supported the system for six months of operations directly from one of their plants.

There are many ways to do this. One is to create some sort of software and you have to complement the software. For example, today, in this environment, you may have a platform from 20 years ago that you want to add IoT, analytics, or machine learning capabilities to. They provide all those new developments.

They have a very large library of requirements that allows them to entertain any type of software that you may need, from basic ones to the latest technologies that are going to be hooking all the systems into a 5G environment.

What is the team composition?

At one plant, they have around 40 engineers. At another plant, there are 32 engineers. It’s a very sizeable company for a software factory. We had a point of contact.

How did you come to work with Soft Cluster, LLC?

We were looking for quotations for software development and got a good reference for Soft Cluster, LLC. It was really simple because they speak English and are very close to us here. One of their plants is in Florida. For me to go to the plant, it’s the same distance to go to Los Angeles. They had good ethics and confidentiality.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $600,000-$700,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2015 and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The software has been 100% successful. They have access to all our information because they’re the ones creating intelligence. We have an ongoing relationship all the time. They are part of the team, rather than an outsider. It’s a permanent relationship that’s at the heart of the corporation.

How did Soft Cluster, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via email, Skype, and Zoom. The team of engineers would also come to the states and spend time. We have full communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are willing and have a good spirit about taking care of their clients. One person is the key. He’s the one that has been training all our supervisors and people like that. He’s a key guy even though he doesn’t work for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The improvement is something that is natural for them. When they improve themselves, they improve us.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Get in contact with them and have a good brief so they can understand the service you want. They are very professional and will develop whatever idea is in the way it has to be done.
