I’m the senior director of content strategy at a university.

What challenge were you trying to address with Social5?

We needed help with content creation.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provide content creation and social media strategy. It’s a pretty turnkey solution, and they give suggestions to our internal teams. Our project has grown significantly over time because they’ve delivered well. Gradually over time, they took on more responsibility with writing content, launching our news hub, and SEO. Additionally, they write content for two of our newsletters.

What is the team composition?

I work with Jeremiah (CPO) and Holli (Senior Editor & Project Manager).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2019, and our work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Last week we had the two top sponsored posts for all universities on LinkedIn. We have pretty aggressive traffic goals and we’re on track to hit them. They deliver exceptional content that performs well.

How did Social5 perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a weekly call where we vet ideas. Holli does a great job of managing things, and the whole team is both responsive and helpful. They always accommodate us and act as good partners.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their people are excellent. Our relationship with them has helped us navigate a lot of issues. Their project continues to grow based on great results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, a lot of the issues we’ve faced are on our side.  I wish we could improve some of our processes to speed things up for all of our partners.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to know your objectives as you’re going in so you can work with Social5 on accomplishing them. They’re really good at executing, and they have strong content and social media strategies.
