Smartpeople Search & Selection AS was established on 15 January 2000. At the time, the starting point was to work more industry-specialized and -focused than many others in the recruitment industry - who to a large extent focus on more generalized recruitment.

Smartpeople's primary area of ​​focus is to work with the recruitment of top and middle managers, as well as more skilled personnel for the retail/chain operations and brand supplier sectors. The platform and experience base of those of us who work at Smartepeople are primarily FMCG and grocery retail. Ever since we started in 2000, we have worked very broadly within the retail and brand sectors, and today have customers in both consumer goods and the vast majority of specialist retail areas. In addition, we work with many different players who work against or collaborate with our customers within the same focus areas.

The company works based on a partner model, and we who work in the company have in-depth experience and expertise from more important management roles in the aforementioned sectors. Smartpeople also focuses on services, and delivers a wide range of search, recruitment services and advice in HR management, coaching, outplacement - and not least career advice.
