BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of Amata Law Office Suites - an attorney support services company. We provide paralegal support, office space, virtual office programs and live phone answering services to solo and small law firms.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Smart Yeti, and what were your goals?

We experienced turnover in the Chief Marketing Officer position and decided to outsource the position. After researching potential companies we selected Smart Yeti to lead our companies marketing efforts. Project work included modifying our marketing plan, overseeing vendors to relaunch our website, set up PPC ads, maximize organic SEO, purchase other digital ads and oversee the creation of several commercials.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We interviewed several candidates for an internal position as well as three companies to outsource the role of CMO to. The decision criteria came down to overall experience, vendor resources we could tap into and cost.

The first step was for Smart Yeti to evaluate existing marketing resources and programs. Then they made recommendations on resources to keep and those to discard. A new branding strategy was put into place and they sourced new vendors to implement the strategy. Throughout the ongoing process, Smart Yetis oversees all marketing vendors and the projects they are working on.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have worked with one resource at Smart Yeti, our outsourced CMO, and this resource has brought in several partners they previously had relationships with.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have experienced a 56% increase in monthly lead activity since working with Smart Yeti. The revised website was recently launched so we expect these results to continue to improve.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We hold bi-weekly strategy meetings and weekly digital marketing meetings with outside vendors. This structure has created a very efficient program that is following the marketing plan.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their breadth of knowledge, experience and partner relationship they have been able to bring to the table have saved us time and money.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They were slow to reject a few of the existing partners we had in place. In future engagements I would recommend they move quicker to express their opinions and make changes if needed.
