I’m the owner of Olive Branch Wellness Center, a natural healthcare facility.

What challenge were you trying to address with Small Biz Marketing Specialist?

I needed a professional to help me with my social media marketing efforts.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Small Biz Marketing is responsible for all of my social media marketing campaigns, on platforms like Facebook and Pinterest. The team also did a little bit of rebranding for me, so that our advertising all looked consistent. They’re also helping me with a live launch of a product selling for services that I do, as well as writing a newsletter and blog. 

What is the team composition?

I’m working with Stacey (Owner). Sometimes I work with some of her other team members, but it’s primarily Stacey. 

How did you come to work with Small Biz Marketing Specialist?

I met Stacey through another coaching opportunity. We’d always kept in touch, and I knew her as a talented, passionate marketer. Through our conversations, I heard she was on some national platforms and having a lot of success, so I reached out to start a partnership.  

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since January 2020, and I intend to work with them for quite a while.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Their services have absolutely increased business. The first couple of months of the engagement were about getting things cleaned up and learning about each other. Since we’ve done that, our customers have started to notice the changes. We’ve received great feedback on the newsletter and everything we’re sending out for contact.

Small Biz Marketing Specialist is always out there looking for better ways to market to and engage with my audience. The team is always involving me in their decisions, and they make it easy to work with them.

How did Small Biz Marketing Specialist perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform really well. They’re very conscientious and accommodating of schedules and deadlines. The team is super flexible and easy to work with. Throughout the project, there have been a few miscommunications, but the team has been quick to straighten anything out.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really appreciate how well they’ve streamlined communication. We use Teamwork to stay in touch, and it’s really helped us stay organized and accountable. When we meet over Zoom, there are notes taken and I’m given a schedule. Also, despite how busy they are, I’m always able to get a hold of the team relatively easily.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing that comes to mind. They’re on top of it.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Do what you’re told to do. If Small Biz Marketing Specialist tells you to do some homework, you have to do it. Also, know what direction you want to go in, because they can take you wherever you want to go.

Small Biz Marketing upgraded our websites and continues to manage published profiles and other content. They provide SEO, content management, email marketing, and Facebook ad services.

I work directly with Stacey (Owner, Small Biz Marketing Specialist).

I believe I found the company online about five years ago, and Stacey has been a key part of my business ever since. 

How much have you invested with them?

I spend about $8,000 each year, so probably around $40,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working together since around October 2014.

Small Biz Marketing has significantly improved our online presence and conversion rates. She took the company from nothing to being able to rely on business directly from our websites regularly. Stacy's transformed my business and is an integral part of everything I do.

Stacey is collaborative. I completely trust her and rely on her guidance in terms of the direction our copy should take. She's also great about meeting deadlines and staying in constant contact with me. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

She's been great about working around my tough deadlines and demanding personality. She completely understands my goals and keeps me on track, ensuring my marketing efforts are in line with those goals.

It's important to know where you want to go first and foremost, and then to be patient during the process because it takes time to build an online presence.
