I am the CEO at a service business based in the Chicago area. We work with individual clients as well as corporate and government entities.

Our company was established in the 70's and evolving with changes in technology is very important to us, including having a cutting-edge website. We hired Small Bee to assist us with our website needs.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

As a small business, cost and accessibility are what we look for when choosing a vendor. We want to work with a team that gets to know us and our business - not just treat us as a number and push us through an impersonal pipeline. Small Bee provided us with the personalized touch we were looking for, and we reached the same reliable team anytime we had a question or need.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After completing a brief but detailed questionnaire, Small Bee reached out to discuss our project. Initial mockup designs were provided, and once a design theme was selected the rest of the site was built. We were able to provide photos and content through a secure online portal, and we were even able to provide feedback right onto the design draft as it was being built! Just such an easy and seamless process for us.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with the Creative Director, Christine, and the developer who did some code work.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Small Bee's process is very thorough, and all of our job requirements were met. The website is very custom to our brand, highly unique in our industry, and very user-friendly. We constantly receive compliments about our website, customers absolutely love it!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

There was great communication with the team throughout the project. It was convenient for me to communicate via email; phone when necessary. I was able to send photos and content direct to an online portal and provide feedback online. Everything was delivered on time by Small Bee.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed by their web design, UX, and optimization knowledge. It’s also impressive to receive big design firm services in a small business package and package rate. The personalized attention and attention to detail provided to us made us feel like their only client. First-class service all around, and all services provided in-house. I appreciate that! This company understands small business!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. This company is great!
