Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CMO of Aroma Blush, an e-commerce company. We offer natural and organic skincare and hair care products made with carefully selected ingredients, free from harsh chemicals, to promote healthy, radiant skin and hair while being environmentally friendly.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Skyloom Studios?

We needed to design a high-converting Shopify store with an outstanding design that could relay our brand’s thought process in a way that’s not generic.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Skyloom Studios designed and developed our Shopify store. They handled the following pages: homepage, product page, collections page, and about page. They also set up shipping, payment, and tracking with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Pixel, and Google Tag Manager. Moreover, they handled all the external integrations, such as bundling and adding shoppable videos.

We worked with 2–5 teammates from Skyloom Studios.

How did you come to work with Skyloom Studios?

We found them through an online search. We chose them because they had high ratings, their pricing fit our budget, and they had a great portfolio of past work.

We spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April–July 2024.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our website traffic and sales increased. Skyloom Studios did a great job setting up our Shopify store and helped us launch our products into the market and rank them on Google. After three months of putting the website live, we saw that our products were ranking for the keywords, which meant that our product pages were correctly optimized for search. Our conversion rate was also good. When we ran ads, we saw a conversion of about 1.5%–2.5%.

How did Skyloom Studios perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on time and kept us updated through each milestone. We had meetings after every milestone. The first meeting happened after they had the first draft of the website design. The second meeting happened when they had all the pages designed. The third meeting happened when they had all the integrations done. The fourth meeting was the handoff.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their main focus on design and not trying to take a templated approach was impressive. They really tried to understand our brand.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, the whole experience was quite satisfactory.
