Our Story

We are SkillSource Tech, a Malvern, PA–based recruiting team specializing in precision manufacturing and maintenance talent. Our recruiters combine industry expertise with hands‑on sourcing to deliver permanent placements, retained executive searches, and contract recruiters (on‑site or remote) for manufacturers nationwide. We partner with clients to fill machinists, welders, maintenance and leadership roles, delivering skilled hires and measurable workforce improvements.

We just don't send any resume over - We prescreen

Every single candidate we present to you has been pre-screened and interviewed by one of our recruiters to make sure they are up to par, per your standards, for the job before presenting - or we simply do not present them. We will never just send over resumes without them being prescreened.

Our database

Most of our candidates you will not find on the leading job boards because they were initially sourced years ago.  You see, a lot of candidates pull their resumes from job boards once employed.  We, on the other hand, still retain those passive candidates.

Based in the suburbs of Philadelphia, we work nationwide. We have an extensive database of candidates from all across the country (over 10,000 and counting) that have already been pre-screened and interviewed. We don’t present “job-hoppers". If they don’t have a decent work history, we don’t save them to our database. Our rates are very reasonable and lower than most agencies out there – (as low at 10 percent) - we have a skilled base fee structure, and all of our placements are guaranteed for 90 days. We operate our base service on a contingency-basis, which means - we do not charge anything to interview or phone-screen our candidates. You only pay a fee if you hire. We also provide for your convenience four different payment options (A copy of our fee schedule will be provided to you upon your request). For large volume/multiple hires SkillSource Tech can provide contract recruiters (at a set hourly rate - remotely or on-site). Contract Recruiting or "RPO" - (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) will save your company a significant amount of money and time per hire due to hiring at volume.   Lastly, we offer retained searches for those really tough to find or time sensitive roles. In appreciation for paying half up front and half due at hire, your company will pay 25 percent less than contingency. We will find that qualified candidate. Whatever it takes - (Usually within 30 days). If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
