Describe the scope of their work in detail.
The project aimed at exploring various lead generation channels for some of our services and products. It started with a kick-call, during which we discussed in detail our expectations, products and services, competitive landscape, previous experiences, and many others.
Based on that, Skalski Growth team prepared a strategy, which included, among other parts, a tactics backlog. It was a list of the most promising channels and campaigns, prioritized by a potential impact, cost and probability of success. After approval from our side, they started testing the ideas one by one in a timely manner.
Over the course of the next 3 months, they’ve tested multiple campaign setups in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Linkedin Ads. Each time, exploring multiple messages, placements, and target audiences, and doubling down on the most effective ones. Some of the campaigns required developing new landing pages - made on Unbounce (third-party software) - which allowed us to save a lot of our internal resources (IT/design time) and launch them pretty fast.
They have also tested several approaches to email marketing. Leads from all the campaigns were automatically sent to our CRM, to be processed by the sales team. Every week we jumped on the call to discuss the progress and learnings (it was a good knowledge sharing for both sides), and plan the next steps. The team worked in rapid weekly sprints with some new work delivered every week.
After identifying a few successful channels, they organized a handover to one of the internal team members (including detailed documentation of all the channels, creatives, etc. and a training call). Later, even after the end of our cooperation, whenever any problem occurred, they provided immediate help.
What was the team composition?
The project was led by Wojtek Skalski, who is the head of the agency. He was responsible for crafting the strategy, turning it into an actionable plan and overseeing the project. A key role in the team played a Growth Marketer who was responsible for executing the marketing plan, setting up the analytics and reporting on the progress.
He had a good mix of technical and creative skills. Whenever needed, they involved specialists, like copywriters or graphics designers, into the project. They also worked closely with our in-house team including project managers and creatives.
