Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We engaged Six Lakes following our NetSuite implementation to support stabilization and ongoing optimization. Their scope includes reviewing and troubleshooting system configuration, integrations, workflows, reporting, and accounting processes, as well as helping us evaluate the best approach when new business or system requirements arise.

They serve as a primary NetSuite resource for our team. When we encounter an issue or have a question about functionality, we typically bring it to Six Lakes first to help us understand the root cause, available options, and recommended path forward. Their work has also extended beyond the specific items we bring to them. As they have become familiar with our NetSuite environment and business processes, they proactively identify pain points, potential configuration improvements, and opportunities to improve how we are using the system.

They also collaborate directly with our other developers and integration partners when an issue crosses platforms.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest measure of success has been the increased stability and usability of our NetSuite environment following implementation. We have been able to resolve post-implementation issues, improve configurations and workflows, and continue moving from stabilization into optimization. We have also reduced the amount of time spent internally trying to diagnose NetSuite issues.

Six Lakes is typically our first resource when something comes up, and they are able to quickly help us identify the root cause, determine whether the issue is NetSuite, an integration, or a business process, and recommend a path forward. Another meaningful outcome has been the identification and resolution of issues we were not necessarily aware of when we engaged them. Their recommendations have helped us continuously improve the system rather than simply maintain what was originally implemented.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Their project management has been very responsive and flexible. We have an ongoing engagement rather than a single project with a defined completion date, so our work is generally prioritized based on business need and urgency. They communicate clearly, are quick to respond when something comes up, and follow through on the items we are working through. When an issue requires additional research or coordination with another partner, they keep the work moving and communicate where things stand. I have been very satisfied with their ability to manage priorities and deliver within the timelines we establish.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

One of the things I appreciate most is the consistency of the team. We work with the same core group, so they have developed a strong understanding of our NetSuite environment, our business, and the history behind the decisions we’ve made. We don’t have to continually bring new people up to speed or re-explain the same issues. That continuity, combined with their responsiveness and proactive approach, makes them feel like an extension of our team rather than an outside consultant.

Are there any areas for improvement or something SixLakes Consulting could have done differently?

I don’t have anything significant at this point. Our engagement is ongoing, and they have been responsive and adaptable as our needs have evolved. Nothing stands out that I would say they should have done differently.
