VanRan Communications is a full-service, telecommunications company specializing in Unified Communications, Contact Center, Collaboration, Session Border Controller, Data, Cloud Services, Network Services, Professional Services and Wiring.

• We asked SimbirSoft to update our internal communication platform and customer service portal. Our old systems were becoming hard to scale and didn’t have the flexibility to serve a growing and diverse customer base. The main goal was to create a single, user-friendly platform that would support real-time communication, user tracking and reporting tools – all tailored to the needs of a telecom operator like VanRan. We also wanted to improve customer facing interfaces to make them more user-friendly and responsive.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

SimbirSoft did a full analysis of our infrastructure and found gaps and opportunities for optimization. Then they designed and developed a custom web-based communication suite with role-based access, live chat, VoIP and automated service tracking. On the customer side they redesigned our client portal to have better navigation, more responsive support and seamless integration with our backend systems. Key deliverables were a completely new backend system, user friendly web interface and technical documentation for our internal IT team.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After deployment we saw a big drop in service ticket resolution time due to workflow automation. Clients liked the new portal faster and easier to use. Internally the platform was better for collaboration across departments and leadership could make faster data driven decisions. Our customer retention improved organically after the upgrade.

SimbirSoft’s project management was super thorough. They had weekly sprints and clear roadmaps so we were always on the same page. Even when small issues arose they responded quickly and always had a solution. Never missed a milestone and their collaborative approach made the whole process way less painful than expected.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most was their ability to get our industry. SimbirSoft didn’t treat our project as a one size fits all – they took time to learn about telecoms workflows and regulatory aspects. Their technical depth and real-world application were something we don’t see often in software partners.

Are there any areas for improvement or something SimbirSoft Company could have done differently?

We had a couple of early moments during the discovery phase where we wanted more visual prototypes to help clarify expectations. But once we gave them that feedback, they adapted and started including wireframes and mockups in their iterations. Small bump in an otherwise smooth ride.

• As a sustainable fashion brand committed to zero-waste and eco-conscious production, we needed a digital platform that could reflect our values while also being highly functional and engaging. We hired SimbirSoft to develop a new website that could effectively showcase our products, communicate our brand mission, and support both eCommerce functionality and storytelling. Our previous website lacked the modern aesthetics and performance needed to keep up with our growing international audience and the emotional element behind our brand. SimbirSoft began by conducting a full UX/UI audit of our old platform and initiated a redesign strategy that placed emphasis on clean aesthetics, faster performance, and a seamless mobile shopping experience. They built the new website from the ground up, incorporating sustainable design elements, storytelling sections for our eco-materials like grape waste and coffee grounds, and a robust backend that supported inventory management and multilingual capabilities. They also integrated eco-footprint tracking on product pages and designed an interactive impact section that allowed users to understand their positive contribution when choosing Zèta products.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within weeks of launch, we noticed an uptick in time spent on site, particularly on our story and product pages. Customers began engaging more with the environmental impact sections, and our bounce rate dropped significantly. Our team also received positive feedback from influencers and collaborators who found the new layout both beautiful and easy to navigate. The smooth checkout experience led to improved conversion rates, and internal operations benefited from better inventory syncing and multilingual order processing.

Their project management was structured and reassuring. We had a dedicated project lead who kept us in the loop through regular check-ins and a shared project board that made it easy to track tasks and milestones. Any concerns or tweaks we had were addressed quickly, and they were particularly receptive to ideas, even when they came mid-project. Despite a tight deadline before our seasonal campaign launch, they delivered everything on time and without compromising quality.

They took the time to learn about our materials, our audience, and the values we stood for, then translated that into a digital experience that felt authentically “Zèta.” Their attention to detail in combining design with storytelling was unlike anything we’d experienced with previous partners.

Are there any areas for improvement or something SimbirSoft Company could have done differently?

There was a brief moment during the early wireframing stage where our team and theirs had differing ideas on the layout hierarchy, but to their credit, they brought in a UX specialist who helped us find common ground. That open-minded approach turned what could’ve been a sticking point into a creative solution. Overall, there’s little we would change about how the project was handled.
