The contractor carried out a major modernization of our Telegram bot and its admin panel. The scope went far beyond minor feature updates: the core goal was to rebuild the outdated architecture, improve system stability, and create a solid foundation for future scaling.

As part of the project, the team completely redesigned the backend architecture and migrated the system to a modern stack based on FastAPI, Aiogram, and SQLAlchemy. They rewrote the core backend logic in clean Python, removed a number of legacy workarounds, and improved database access and overall maintainability. They also migrated the existing database structure to a new one while preserving user sessions, which allowed us to move to the new system without disrupting the user experience.

One of the key deliverables was a new automated application monitoring and ban-detection module. The team implemented flexible monitoring controls, allowing us to enable or disable checks both for individual apps and for entire platforms such as iOS or Android. They also made the monitoring interval configurable through the admin panel. In addition, they integrated the bot with a third-party premium monitoring service used for app availability checks in Europe. To support daily operations, they introduced app statuses, search by name or description, and filtering options.

They also improved the release workflow. New applications can now be added to the system without activating monitoring immediately, and monitoring is enabled only after publication. This helped reduce false alerts and made the release process more reliable.

On the frontend side, the contractor replaced outdated templating logic with JavaScript-based scripts, improved the usability of the admin panel, added search and counters for the Commands section, and introduced a dedicated Monitoring tab for configuration management. As a result, the interface became much more efficient for everyday use.

The project also included infrastructure and delivery improvements. The team containerized the application with Docker, set up a CI/CD pipeline with automated test execution before deployment, introduced version control discipline, and improved logging and error tracking, including Sentry integration. These changes significantly increased release quality and simplified ongoing support.

Overall, the contractor did not just add new features — they delivered a full technical upgrade of the product. They rebuilt the architecture, improved reliability, streamlined administration, and created a much stronger technical base for future development.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

So far, the team has delivered around 15 features for us, and all of them were released well-tested. These automated processes have already saved us around 100 man-hours.

We would also like to specifically mention their management and communication. The team has very strong project managers: all processes are well structured, communication is always professional, comfortable, and transparent. We always understand what stage a task is at, what the deadlines are, and how the next steps will be organized. We were moving through 1-week sprints and recieved 1-2 features every week, they met all the deadlines, sometimes delivering features even in advance

Orders from WhatsApp chat are automatically captured and transferred into Zoho CRM and placed into the correct pipeline stage. This ensures that all incoming customer requests are logged immediately, processed efficiently, and tracked through the sales workflow without manual data entry.

Messages submitted in the agreed template format are automatically converted into orders in Zoho CRM. This standardized structure ensures accurate data capture, reduces manual processing, and minimizes errors in order creation.
