Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

After the groundbreaking approval of the first and only therapy targeting the genetic cause of dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa, we were assigned the mission of aiding a patient in narrating her personal journey of living with the condition and her participation in a clinical trial. Given the highly visual nature of this disease, we opted for a video testimonial as the most effective storytelling medium. 

The end result was intended for distribution at internal company events and to be showcased live on the therapy's website, providing invaluable insights for those considering the treatment. The deliverables of this project included a fully edited and produced video (~6 minutes long) that highlighted key elements of Emily's story with DEB and her participation in the clinical trial. 

Most importantly, the video had to be FDA-compliant and include all important safety information (ISI).

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The patient video was quickly/easily approved by the company's medical/legal/regulatory team. The video was played at an internal meeting and received high-praise by all at the company. The video was then placed on the website and has been viewed countless times since. Most importantly, the patient and her family felt at ease with the SGNY group the day of and had a wonderful experience with the team at their home. 

Having a patient be comfortable and have such ease telling her story to a production crew is a true win!

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The SGNY Groupis flexible and nimble whenever we work on projects together to ensure we meet deadlines. On this particular project, there were a lot of restrictions and rules due to the nature of working with an FDA-approved drug, and the team went above and beyond to ensure that the final product was FDA-compliant.

The ability to connect and work with patients is one of our favorite things about The SGNY Group. They are also extremely attentive to email and are always willing to work together to get the job done quickly.
