 I’m the superintendent pharmacist of a community pharmacy.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with sevendayship?

 We needed an appointment calendar built within seven days, as our previous provider closed their service at short notice.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

sevendayship built a customizable appointment calendar accessible via our website and a back office portal. We needed to update it ourselves, so it had to be simple to use since none of us at the pharmacy were tech-savvy. It also had to look clean and professional for our customers. Additionally, it had to send notifications of bookings to us and the patients and have the ability to see our daily appointment schedule. When we started working together, I provided screenshots of the system we were currently using, and sevendayship worked the rest out.

How did you come to work with sevendayship?

A colleague referred sevendayship to me. I really liked the work they had done for my colleague. When I spoke with Tony (Founder), he was knowledgeable and had a 'can do' approach to some of the more challenging development I needed. He also had a professional and friendly approach and understood the importance of what we were doing and why it was urgent. He took the stress away.

How much have you invested with them?

We paid £50 for this bespoke build.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together in September 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

sevendayship delivered a working product and a video user guide for me and my team. The calendar let us offer a better quality of service to the patients than what we had previously. It also automated our workflows more, resulting in a total saving of 20 minutes per day. Moreover, the patient and user experience was better.

How did sevendayship perform from a project management standpoint?

sevendayship beat all my expectations. They delivered the calendar within two days of commissioning the work. We ended up with five days of additional test/trial time. We communicated via WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

sevendayship was quick to reply and fully focused on our project. They provided a personal service.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing they could have improved. It was like we had our own in-house developer sitting within the team.

 team was responsible for the UX and UI design of the Beam mobile app. The app is a mindfulness and wellness app created for people with neurological conditions, chronic illness, and caregivers. I was referred to them through a friend, and they helped bring structure, clarity, and creativity to a project that initially felt overwhelming to me.

Their work included:

Branding design aligned with our “cosmic desert” theme (soft, dreamy, inclusive)
Wireframing and app screen layouts
Accessibility-first design elements (e.g., contrast ratios, color coding, large touch targets)
Supportive, visually calming interface design for neurodivergent and disabled users
Clear communication and ongoing feedback loops to help me understand the design process and make confident decisions

They translated a complex, emotionally sensitive vision into something intuitive, warm, and beautiful  and made the process feel manageable and collaborative.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The branding and design system created are now consistently used across our website, social media, and pitch decks

I was able to move from confusion to clarity on the visual direction, which helped speed up decision-making and reduce revision cycles

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

I’ve always struggled with translating what’s in my head into something visual, especially with design. This team was incredibly patient and collaborative throughout the process  they never made me feel rushed or silly for needing to go back and forth. They took the time to understand the feeling and vision I was trying to capture, and they kept refining things until it felt right. They were responsive, thoughtful, and flexible with timelines as needed, and I always felt like I was in capable hands. The end result was the closest I’d ever come to seeing my ideas represented clearly on a screen.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

At the end of the day, skill alone isn’t enough  you can work with incredibly talented people, but if they’re difficult or dismissive, the whole process falls apart. What made this team special was that they combined real creative expertise with genuine patience, kindness, and care. They listened deeply, never made me feel silly, and worked with me like true collaborators. That mix of professionalism and humanity is rare and it made all the difference.
