We had to refactor our application from Joomla/LAMP to nextjs/node.js MongoDB. Our requirement was to have the new app heavily utilizing AWS Lamnbdas. We also had an entirely new design.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app had a number of unique requirements that required a lot of thought and communication. The team met with us on a regular basis to discuss issues and make sure they were aligned with our vision. They are not afraid to inquire with outside resources (such as AWS) when working through issues or optimizing the app's efficiency.

We were assigned a project manager that kept the project on track. We utilized communication tools an Notion. They were very responsive to our needs and requirements, which set them apart from other service providers.

Hard to say. Although understandable, they would be even more valuable if their English was improved.

Our data strategy required a modernization of data processing, access, storage and insights in a high-volume and highly regulated financial services industry. Using AWS as a cloud provider, the Serverless Team designed, developed and tested a comprehensive solution combining Kinesis, Lambda, Glue, Kafka, Data Lake, Athena, RedShift, and Quicksight to deliver a modern business intelligence platform. 

This approach was extremely flexible in data consumption, processing, storage, analyzing, reporting and exposing out to 3rd parties as well as positioning us to make use of AI and machine learning in the future.

• MVP Launched to Customers in 90 Days Short sprints with the ability to release weekly Automated deployments throughout all environments

The Serverless team is flexible on project management styles and very accommodating. We started with a simple Kanban board early in the project and moved into SCRUM with 1 week sprints and daily stand ups using Jira and Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Serverless Team are experts in AWS and using the latest capabilities with a focus on low-cost and high-speed serverless capabilities of AWS. The team worked with us to fully understand the short-term and long-term strategy so that we could deliver a MVP solution quickly while laying a solid foundation for future release. Their SDLC processes are agile and modern from day one so that the team can scale quickly, adapt to change, and release quickly with high quality.

We have a fully working IoT platform which is up to the specifications we set out to archive. Right now we are making minor changes and optimizing some aspects of the platform.

Project management was very well organized with daily meetings and updates, items were delivered on time and on budget. Whenever we need changes or input, they would come up with good technical solutions to our problems.
