BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

Plotter is an automated platform that allows small and medium sized business owners easily and conveniently record and manage their business and personal finances, generate financial statements and carry out proper planning and analysis all with little or no knowledge of accounting. I am the CEO and co founder. We are yet to launch out product publicly.

Brand identity strategy and development and web app design.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We got to know this vendor through a referal

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After series of discovery calls, we got sketches and ideas through stylescapes we picked from. After our logo was developed and we had a few options. Once we picked out logo choice they went on to develop the brand style; colours, font, patterns, animations and more. After this we were able to apply to our web app design and they worked closely with our team to guide the process. They also worked on some templates we can use for social media and a brand identity guideline for our team

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In total we worked with 4 people, a brand strategist, 2 brand designers and 1 graphic designer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The process was so seamless. The fact that we were carried along the process and we could see their efforts and ideas in every presentation was a plus. It was successful.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. We had presentations at different stages. Everything was delivered right on time and properly arranged in a Google drive folder that we can easy edit if corrections come up later in future.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The fact that they had our business operations and marketing in mind was very unique. Most designers only focus on design but the Art director is business oriented and that's a plus.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

What I would say is they can draw up a detailed calendar for large projects so that we can envision a possibility end date as opposed to just giving a time frame.
