SOLUTION

Can you describe the scope of work Secra Solutions handled for your cloud platform engineering project?

Secra Solutions supported the security assurance side of our cloud platform engineering work. Their scope focused on reviewing the security posture of selected cloud-hosted projects and applications, primarily through penetration testing and vulnerability assessment. 
The main deliverables included penetration testing of the relevant application and infrastructure surface, identification and validation of security vulnerabilities, risk-rated findings with technical evidence, practical remediation recommendations for the engineering team, and follow-up clarification and support to help us understand and address the issues.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Secra Solutions helped us improve the security of projects running on our cloud platform and gave us an external validation layer before exposing or scaling those systems further. The measurable outcomes were mainly security and remediation focused. Secra Solutions helped us identify vulnerabilities across selected projects, classify them by severity, and turn them into concrete remediation actions for the engineering team. 
Success was measured by the number and severity of vulnerabilities identified during testing, the clear remediation plan produced from the findings, the reduction of high-risk issues after fixes were applied, the improved confidence in the security posture of the tested applications and cloud infrastructure, and the better internal awareness of security risks and secure deployment practices. 
The engagement gave us a practical baseline for security maturity and helped us prioritize fixes before exposing or scaling those systems further.

How did Secra Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Secra Solutions managed the engagement clearly and professionally. The scope was straightforward, communication was direct, and their findings were delivered in a format our engineering team could act on. They delivered within the expected timeframe for the agreed testing scope. 
When follow-up clarification was needed, they were responsive and helped us understand the findings well enough to prioritize remediation. We communicated in person, virtually, and via email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

What stood out most was how practical and engineering-focused their work was. They didn’t just provide generic security findings; they gave us clear, actionable issues with enough technical context for our team to understand the risk and move quickly on remediation. I also appreciated that their communication was direct and pragmatic. The engagement felt focused on helping us improve the security of the projects, not just delivering a report.

Overall, the engagement went well and met our expectations. Their core work was solid: the testing was useful, the findings were actionable, and the communication was clear throughout the project.
