Our Story
In 1960, Pedro Rymar emigrated from Brazil to Philadelphia with his wife, three children, and just $200 after recovering from illness caused by grueling work conditions at Klabin Paper Company. Within a week of arriving, he began work as a factory helper at Zubler Bearing. By 1963, Pedro was plant manager when a fire destroyed the factory, prompting a split between the owners. Pedro partnered with Eric Scheerer to found Scheerer Bearing Corporation, later becoming sole owner and CEO in 1978. H
