The Schantz family began building custom trailers and trucks for the food industry over 60 years ago. With decades of experience, the Schantz family saw a need for custom designed parts in a variety of other markets. Schantz Machine & Fabrication was founded in 2016 with the goal to provide high-quality, customized, metal-fabricated parts that could serve a variety of industries. The Schantz family looked to 4th generation owner, Zach Schantz, to take the lead at SMF and bring his vision and passion for metalwork into expertly designed performance parts and assemblies. The long history in metalwork and level of expertise Zach brings to SMF has allowed the family business to expand and service industries such as aftermarket racing products, dirt, and pavement racing parts and accessories, suspension components, ATVs/UTVs, motorcycles, sports, and diesel truck parts.
