Company History

Peter Sanelli began his career in the glass industry focusing on the creative and artistic aspects of decorative glass and their residential applications. He began perfecting his craft and refining his sales techniques from a small garage in Cleveland, OH. Peter Sanelli and his brother-in-law R.M. Yates purchased Vetter Glass in 1951 from the Vetter Brothers and thus Sandglo -Vetter Glass was born.

From there, under the guidance of Peter Sanelli, Sandglo Glass and Mirror grew into the residential flat glass replacement industry.

In 1976 Peter’s son, Tony Sanelli, began working for his father full-time. Tony, leveraging the core capabilities of Sandglo, expanded the business into the commercial glazing industry.

Today, Since 1951 and two generations from their humble beginnings, Sandglo Glass and Mirror is one of Cleveland’s premiere commercial glazing companies and the longest continuing operating.
