Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the demand generation lead for a product development company. We work with SMEs and Enterprises build future-proof and intuitive digital products, while guiding them with the best processes & practices that will allow them to undergo a successful digital transformation and scale sustainably. We also help startups go from ideation to MVP to a scalable product, by deploying dedicated teams for development.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Sage Data?

We've been working with SageData as a partner for the better part of the last 6 months now. We were on the lookout for a tool that helps us map out our Marketing KPIs more effectively esp. centred around attribution, channel-specific funnels and return on ad spend.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We've been working as a partner for a while now, and it made sense to go ahead with Sage Data since their product ticked all the boxes. The visualization and dashboards from multiple different sources wasn't cutting it, and we needed one tool that gave us a centralized view. The fact that we can get all the data together in one place from FB, Google, IG and other platforms and visualize it accordingly sealed the deal for us.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Their team worked closely with us in understanding our goals, and helping us map out data sources accordingly. Their platform is rich with multiple integrations which made it easy to connect to multiple sources, and get things up and running very quickly.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Kirill and his team have been a delight to work with. We've worked with a total of 3 members from their team ranging from CEO, CTO to Data Analyst.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're now able to clearly pinpoint and map out attribution more effectively through their Marketing Attribution models, while assessing our user cohorts on a weekly and monthly basis. Based on the insights we got from using the platform, we've made multiple changes in our marketing strategy which has helped increase our conversions.

Apart from this, the platform has been very helpful for us from a RevOps perspective where we're able to break down costs/ROi of our digital spend more effectively as well as scale up and scale down our campaigns in accordance to that.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have a really good partnership, and communication has been seamless. We mainly use Slack and Zoom for any and all communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The fact that they spent the time to actually understand our requirements/challenges, suggest use cases and the kind of reporting that would help and then build it out from there. Their team did most of the heavy lifting. This is very rare in SaaS, where most companies only want to sell their product and expect you to figure it out. SageData goes the extra mile.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None really. They are a fantastic group of people with a great product. We're really happy.
