The project covered the full cycle of product development, from concept to deployment. On the product side, RUBYON designed and built a Ruby on Rails web app that powered the camera kit recommendation engine. This included defining the questionnaire logic, implementing the matching rules, and building the user interface for a simple, guided flow. The app was deployed and configured for performance, scalability, and ease of future extension. On the marketing side, RUBYON developed a WordPress-based landing page to attract and convert users. This involved customizing a theme, configuring plugins, ensuring responsive design, and implementing SEO best practices (structured data, Open Graph, meta tags). RUBYON also integrated the landing page with the app so users had a seamless experience moving from awareness to interaction. Measurable outcomes included the successful launch of a fully functional product consisting of both the Rails app and the WordPress marketing site. The app reliably generated curated kit recommendations through its rules engine, while the landing page attracted and funneled users into the product. Performance benchmarks showed a responsive experience across devices, and the system was architected to scale with additional gear data and new features. The integration of app and site created a seamless user journey, meeting the client’s goal of simplifying the decision-making process for photographers and positioning their business as a trusted guide in the market.

Mircea ran the project with clear milestones and consistent communication across both the Rails app and the WordPress landing page. Every deliverable arrived on time, and he was highly responsive to feedback—often proposing solutions before we asked.
