We’re an Apparel Ecommerce brand. I own the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Rovo Press, and what were your goals?

My friend had used them for his brand, and told me about them. I hired them because the price was good for what you get.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Good prices and my friend recommended them, price was a big factor too. I thought their service should cost a few thousand dollars, so it was worth a shot for that price.

I bought, filled out a short form and then 7 days later I got an email from them with a list of all the news sites we had been posted in. Very easy and little input from myself, which I like.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I spoke to Joe. Joe was a customer service person I believe, he spoke to me on email and then sent me my report after.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We got into a few 100 news sites. NBC, USA Today, Google News, Fox, CBS included. Which means the project was a success. We paid to get into news sites, and they got us into them.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Perfect imo, I paid for a service and they delivered the service within 2 weeks, they didn’t need hand-holding or lots of information from me. They just got on with their job and delivered on their promises.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of their work was impressive. Getting into the aforementioned news sites at the price tag they offer is pretty ridiculous. Quality of the articles they posted were very high quality too, you can tell they have an experienced team with journalism experience. I have worked with PR agencies when i worked in the corporate world, and they charged $10,000 retainers, and I would go as far as saying that Rovo Press had a very similar quality of service and end result.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would like to get into Forbes, Entrepreneur and other magazines, but I was told that’s not available right now. So the only improvement I can think of is if they had a wider selection of services, like Forbes publication, or Entrepreneur magazine publication.
