I'm a managing partner at an online marketplace that provides mineral owners in the United States with a place to sell the mineral rights for maximum value.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ronas IT?

We needed someone who could clean up our website and build on to what was already in place.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They mostly do maintenance. They build out a lot of new things to help us become more efficient, like automated email services and things like that that could be built into the system. They've also helped us create an auction system on the frontend.

What is the team composition?

We work with a primary developer and a server administrator who are extremely well qualified.

How did you come to work with Ronas IT?

We originally found them on UpWork.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent about $50,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in March 2016, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

From an efficiency standpoint, I'd say that their work has led to us not needing to hire people. Our cost savings far outweigh the amount of money we've spent with them,

How did Ronas IT perform from a project management standpoint?

They've performed extremely well. We communicate via GitHub, and a ticketing system.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication has been extremely fast and good. They're always on top of everything. A lot of our projects haven't been priorities, but there have been critical things like the website being down. When those things arise, they're on top of it even when it's after hours or vacation. They're very quick to make that happen.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, honestly, I don't think so.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to make sure whatever technology stack you're looking to deal with matches up to what their development team has ready in terms of staffing.

Phase 1 was converting my vision into a coherent design with logical work and process flows. This was a collaborative process and laid the groundwork for phase 2.

Phase 2 was converting the design into a clickable Figma prototype.

The design phase had multiple "screens" that demonstraed the app and work/process flow. Each screen was a deliverable.

The prototyping phase similarly had pieces delivered as they were developed so I could see progress almost daily.

I had a specific deadline I needed to adhere to and we discussed early on how big the scope could be to ensure delivery within that timeline.

The project was then managed to adhere to the schedule proposed. Providing me with nearly daily updates on progress meant changes and problems could be addressed rapidly to ensure delivery was made on time.

Project management is one of the most important key aspects of a successful project, especially if talking about a project of this complexity. I can say that Mr. Usenko who got assigned by Ronas IT as our project manager did and does an awesome job by coordinating the team.

He perfectly understands our requirements and provides a lot of efforts to improve our project through his professional knowledge. We have never before experienced such a great project management like we do with Ronas IT and Mr. Usenko.

Ronas IT is a team of 50+ specialists covering the full product cycle: management, analysis, UI/UX design, frontend and backend development, mobile development, QA, and DevOps.
