We are an international NGO with presence in over 30 Countries world wide. Our organization is in the Energy, Water and Agriculture Sectors working to fight global poverty and inequalities.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Rococo PR & Media, and what were your goals?

The overall purpose of the assignment was to develop digital marketing materials that can be utilized by our Kenya program:

Develop digital marketing materials:

1. Digital marketing materials included: High quality field photoshoot featuring farmers with solar technologies including: Pay as You Go cold storage, egg incubator, solar barber kit, and solar water pump
2. Videography for 2-3 days, video-editing, voice over, supporting script to develop a high quality 4-5-minute video
3. Develop a story for new solar technologies, and an impact story (support in interview and writing available)
4. Develop content for Banners, flyers, and digital social media

Facilitate media coverage The media coverage request is three-fold

1. Consultant will conduct a high-level assessment to determine the end-used or target group, explore / assess the most effective media in terms of cost and coverage, and advise/agree with /Project before facilitation/execution.
2. Utilize the new tools developed to facilitate publicity the EnDev programme and their new solar technologies.
3. Guidance to our staff on continued implementation of the campaign post assignment completion in form of a road map and action points

SOLUTION

Published a call for proposals and the firm was selected competitively.

Standards for Deliverables:

1. All photographs taken must be provided in PNG format
2. All content and materials must be completed and provide to our team in InDesign
3. All digital documents, must adhere to the our Brand Guides
4. e. For all web documents, compressed versions of PDF and we need PNG and JPG for social media
5. All video must be provided in High Definition compatible
6. All public relations and press releases must be approved by us
7. Consent of all the people in video and photos must be handed to our communications team at the end of the assignment

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The advice given on how to use social media especially Twitter using the drafted media strategy saw one of the Tweet with digital materials developed become a top tweet for December 2021. The video developed also has over 250 views on You Tube.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had bi--weekly check-in calls to review progress and ensure quality standards are adhered to.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The company was able to deliver all milestones on time as expressed in the Terms of engagement.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Have the communications expert stick to the assignment from beginning to the end.
