Key Deliverables 

• A full payments backend to enable payments by integration with a modern payment processor (Adyen) via API
• An agency customer facing portal for insurance agencies to manage their payments; view payments, chargebacks, bank deposits etc. 
• An insured customer facing checkout experience to make payments via CC or ACH
• An internal facing merchant management portal for Applied Systems support

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The most important measurable metrics were 

1. Number of transactions 
2. GPV - Gross Processing Volume 
3. CSAT with checkout experience

We provided a product manager who also managed project timelines from the Applied side. 

They were very responsive to Applied Systems needs and pulled out all the stops to deliver things on time,

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their willingness to step up to the plate anytime we needed support in any form, for example, even when there were issues at the payment processor end, they were very helpful in diagnosing the problem because it helped us and our customers. 

They are very good at what they do, approachable and will pick up the phone/respond to Slack in a timely manner. They're kind and accommodating. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something RocketParts, LLC could have done differently?

Not much comes to mind. Some of the documentation could have been more robust but to be honest, they were incented to create features not write docs and so it is understandable.
