I’m the director of ICT for ControlPay. We’re a global company and our main focus is freight audit services.

What challenge were you trying to address with RMRF?

We hired RMRF to support the security of our infrastructure and software.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our first project with RMRF focused on penetration testing to find any vulnerabilities in our system. They also installed and configured our web app’s firewall, Imperva. They’ve secured our application from external attacks. Currently, their team provides support for any security issues we face in daily business.

What is the team composition?

There are three technical specialists dedicated to the project.

How did you come to work with RMRF?

A partner of ours recommended them when we were looking for a penetration testing provider. After an internal tender, we chose RMRF for the project.

We began working with RMRF in May 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

We're fully satisfied with the penetration testing RMRF did for us. The work they’ve produced is professional and helpful. We consider them to be a trusted partner.

How did RMRF perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re professional and attentive to our needs. The clear reports and explanations from their team throughout the project are helpful. We can also use them for consultations whenever needed. Their team is receptive to feedback and communicate well, which is especially useful when they present results to our management. We use the phone, email, and the occasional in-person meeting.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re specialists in their area and the work they produce is high quality. Their team stays within their realm of expertise and I highly recommend working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At the moment, there’s no area for improvement I can think of. Their work has been done at a good level for us.

For what projects/services did your company hire RMRF?

Our company hired RMRF for an expert assessment of selected solutions in the project. They chose and purchased antivirus tool for our IT infrastructure.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to protect our IT infrastructure from malicious programs and unauthorized mass mailings, prevent their introduction into information systems, and safely remove them from those systems if contact occurs.

How did you select this vendor?

We followed the recommendations and reviews of business partners.

They collected antivirus requirements for the companies in our group, then developed criteria for the selection of software. They tested applicants and chose antivirus software based on the criteria and results. They deployed the software and managed support service. 

What was the team composition?

The team included a few of our specialists. They assigned a project manager, who managed the project according to industry standards, processes, and practices.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They selected a modern antivirus solution that fully covered our requirements.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their team of experts joined the project quickly. They asked the proper questions during our initial consultations, which allowed us to plan clearly and complete the project on time. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their final report was as complete as possible, and they confirmed its evaluations by the results of in-depth testing. I was impressed by their deep knowledge of information security and antivirus protection, along with their readiness to fully meet our requirements. During the project, our teams developed a friendly and respectful relationship.

I’m the co-founder and vice president at HighCastle, an investment marketplace for private securities. We provide services for investors and issuers of shares and bonds using blockchain technology.

We wanted to take care of our infrastructure and ensure cybersecurity.

What was the scope of their involvement?

RMRF has helped us identify infrastructure threats and provided cybersecurity advice. We’ve implemented a couple of their suggestions, including additional products that they recommended.

What is the team composition?

We mostly communicate with RMRF’s management. They also have involved their cybersecurity specialists, including two analysts who looked deeply into our infrastructure.

How did you come to work with RMRF?

We met RMRF at a conference in Ukraine. We learned about their services and found it very promising. Their company has an excellent background and experience in cybersecurity.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve paid $25,000 for their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2018, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Currently, our platform’s cybersecurity is in a good state. One of the first products RMRF recommended and implemented is a useful tool to detect suspicious activities. So far, they’ve quickly discovered and protected us from all malicious attempts.

How did RMRF perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been delivered on time and in order. Any delays have been on our side. We actively use our CRM system and WhatsApp to communicate. Since our tech infrastructure is in Ukraine, we can also meet in person. Their team is open and excels at communicating with foreign companies.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re the best cybersecurity team in Ukraine. I’m glad to have found such a qualified and expert company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Everything has been quite nice.
