I’m the former senior director of a nutrition company in Los Angeles.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Riot Creative Imaging?

We needed to address graphic design needs for offices that we were rehabilitating in various places. We had a very short timeline to price, design, output, and install a variety of signage and other installations for the facility.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Riot Creative Imaging brainstormed with us and facilitated solutions to meet our budget and timeline. Although there wasn’t upfront design work involved, there was complexity in working within our requirements.

For example, we needed a flexible, mobile photo opportunity that could grow with us. We wanted a flag wall to represent the 94 countries that our company is present in, and Riot Creative Imaging worked with us to brainstorm and create a magnetic multi-surface installation piece, almost resembling a gallery piece. 

The solution was to paint the wall with magnetic paint, then create four different brick variations that were magnetic, and then add magnetic grips to put the flags on so we could move them around. We also created backlit signs with dye sublimation fabric, among other pieces.

How did you come to work with Riot Creative Imaging?

We came to work with Riot Creative Imaging via referral. We brought them in for a capabilities presentation and we were blown away by their character, their partnership, and their open-minded creativity. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $150,000–$200,000 with Riot Creative Imaging. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Riot Creative Imaging in April 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Their installations were simply spectacular. We received constant compliments on their work. They bent over backward to meet with us. Their execution was flawless, just perfect.

How did Riot Creative Imaging perform from a project management standpoint?

Riot Creative Imaging’s project management was phenomenal. They were very accommodating. They really put focus on making sure that their project managers communicated with us, checking on approval, and checking for anything missed.

We communicated via email, and they were great at managing our project and our relationship face to face. They brought a human element to the relationship that really stood out. This really was a true partnership in creating experientially interesting installations.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their quality, communication, expertise, and capabilities were all amazing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of any areas they could improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The kickoff is everything. You might have a project brief, but lean in and trust Riot Creative Imaging’s talent. Gather everyone in your organization who has opinions together with Riot Creative Imaging in the beginning. That initial brainstorming session should help everyone really understand and grasp the scope and details of the project, but it should also inspire them.
