I'm the CEO of Earth ID, a startup.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Rejolut?

We are building a blockchain-based solution and identity management platform. We wanted a vendor who was skilled in the latest technologies.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

It's a global application and platform with decentralized mobile apps for iOS and Android. Users can create an identity on the app and use that identity to access our partner organizations. We started by building the apps, then used blockchain technology to scale up the security of the data we store. The key technologies they use are hash trees and React Native.

What is the team composition?

I work with all three co-founders. The CEO oversees sales and marketing, and we have a development lead and an architect. They also use three or four other resources on their side.

How did you come to work with Rejolut?

I used Upwork to find agencies. I looked at different companies in India that could work in the technologies we needed at an optimized price. After considering a few vendors that approached us, I chose them. They were one of the few agencies who knew the technology stack we wanted, and their cost was good. They were open with us from the beginning and were interested in a long-term relationship with us.

How much have you invested with them?

At the moment, we've spent a little over $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

They started with us in February 2019, and the collaboration is ongoing. We plan to launch the apps later in 2019, but there is still a lot of work to do. We will continue working with them after the launch.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They provide regular demos to show the app, the UI, and the blockchain architecture. We have a regular feedback cycle, and we see continuous improvements to the solution.

How did Rejolut perform from a project management standpoint?

We are in regular communication, and they're very open to feedback. The project is managed well, and they stick to our timelines. We use Zoom for conference calling and Slack for regular chat.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're very skilled in technologies in the blockchain space. They recognize important issues in the market and are true experts. They understand the key aspects of the platform and are very dedicated. When they discovered gaps in available functionalities, they created new solutions from scratch. They offer everything I was looking for when I came to the market.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It's a small, growing organization, so they should ensure that the new people they hire are of the right quality. It's an emerging technology, so my only comment is that they maintain their current level of excellence.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about your business proposition. They will help with architecture solutions if you're clear about your goals, technologies, and time frame. Work with them on a regular process and keep communication open.
