I am the Director of Strategic Operations & AI Transformation at Voxy. Voxy provides corporate language training with live coaching and job-specific courses, helping businesses boost productivity and close skill gaps for employees in over 150 countries.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Ranketize?

Students were asking ChatGPT and Perplexity for course recommendations, and we just never came up, even though we rank fine on Google. It felt like we were losing an entire discovery channel without even knowing how bad it was.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ranketize started with a deep look at how we showed up (or didn't) across AI tools, then moved into ongoing work cleaning up our entity info, building Reddit presence in relevant learning communities, and tracking citations monthly. Deliverables included a detailed entity audit early on, monthly visibility reports tracking AI mentions, a handful of Reddit posts and replies in relevant subreddits, plus a few technical tweaks around schema and metadata that their team flagged for our developers to implement.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Three months in, we are showing up in a decent chunk of the AI-generated answers Ranketize tracks for our core course categories. We saw a roughly 40% jump in signups tied to the "AI recommendation" tag over the quarter, and we now appear in about a third of the AI answers tracked for our core course categories, up from close to zero when we started.

What was your primary form of communication with Ranketize?

We primarily communicated through virtual meetings and email or messaging apps.

How did Ranketize perform from a project management standpoint?

They did a good job. We had one person who was in charge of our project, so we did not have to talk to a lot of people. We had a call with them every month.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They took the time to explain things to us and didn't just do the work without telling us why they were doing it. Because of this, by the month our team had a good understanding of the AI visibility space.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would have liked a bit more proactive suggestion on content gaps we could fill ourselves, rather than us having to ask what else we could be doing on our end.
